AM FM(N) FM(W) Scanner with Close Call feature. 9000 programmable dynamic channels. Comes with a 12v power cable, a telescopic antenna, a window (Suction cup style) antenna and a BNC long wire adapter, Mounting Bracket. There is also an AC adapter with this radio so you can use it on the mains or in-car with the provided lead. This scanner is in very good condition but has some minor cosmetic marks where the mounting bracket attaches. Please see pictures. Although this scanner will work with the indoor antenna's, it is highly recommended that you use an outdoor long wire antenna. To this end, I have provided a BNC Long Wire antenna connector. Simply connect a long piece of wire to the red terminal an drape it outside of your window, or alternatively, connect a full blown external scanner antenna. The scanner comes pre-loaded with loads of Aircraft/Airport channels (UK) and quite a few others such as taxis and PMR radio. PLEASE NOTE.... If you want a scanner to receive UK police then this is NOT the one for you as they all use digital encrypted frequencies. Uniden software which can be downloaded from the web will allow you to both programme the scanner and also fully control the scanner from a PC. I have included a USB serial adapter which is coupled to Uniden's own scanner to 9 pin cable. In essence, you should be able to just plug this in and start receiving straight away. The frequencies covered are as follows 25Mhz - 512Mhz 758Mhz - 823.9875Mhz 849.0125Mhz - 868.9875Mhz 1.24Ghz - 1.3Ghz. A beautiful radio in need of a loving owner.
